Strong Weave Construction

Dreamlover uses a strong polyester fibre designed for the outdoor weather use. The fibre filaments are a lot stronger than the ultra soft polyester [ like cotton wool ] that are used by competitors. We check our competitors baffles when the opportunity arises. We have confirmed with our fibre manufacturer claim that these baffles are many times stronger than the comparable ultra soft polyester versions. So disintegration as per pictures will not happen. Due to the rising costs all manufacturers have used a less strong version of fibre as time goes. We have replaced some of our Dreamlover 1 mattresses 9 to 10 years after initial purchase. Then Dreamlover 1 series was using high quality polyseter fiber similar to the current Dreamlover Ovation series. The fibre was as good as the day the bladder was sold. We followed our competitors example with the ultra soft polyseter fiber used as a cost cutting competitiveness in our Dreamlover 2 and the current Dreamlover 3 versions.

Dreamlover Ovation uses superior thick heavy duty 800gram polyester fibre as a layer, far, far superior to the 520, 500 and 300 gram versions used by competitors. As there are less layers then to achieve the medium, firm, extra firm and hard consistencies in waterbed mattresses, so there is less joining of layers and hence more reliable Ie to reach 2100gram TEP we only need 3 layers while someone who uses 300gram would require 7 layers to achieve the same result

This is typical of what our service people see. Just 2 years old, the ultra soft polyester fibre has disentergrated into a formless mass.

The brown is where the 5 layers were glued together and the dark is floatation sheets that have seperated.

Dreamlover Ovation does not glue their baffles. They are physically tied as it was done years ago with the largest full a sheet floatation. Dreamlover Ovation has a written warranty on their internal baffles for 3 years, something our competitiors do not do.

The baffle [1900mm] in this queen timber frame mattresses is not supplied the full length. The baffle here will move back and forth reducing stability. Dreamlover 3 and Dreamlover Ovation supply a 2130 mm baffle [the full length of the mattress] that does not move up and down the bed. You may find at night that your head has no support all of a sudden.

Typical signs the baffles have broken up. The mass has ended up at the foot end. This will not happen in the DREAMLOVER OVATION series
